Washable Kimono – Embroidered Komon in Sakura Pink with Rabbit and Moon Motif

The fabric uses Kuraray’s photocatalytic fabric “Shine Up,” which is solid-dyed and then embroidered by skilled craftsmen in Kyoto, creating an elegant and charming kimono.
The thread colors are carefully selected to complement the beautiful sakura pink background, and the moon and rabbit motifs are delicately embroidered. Although the design is charming and playful, the fine Japanese embroidery gives it an elegant appearance that can be enjoyed by adult women as well.
The fabric uses “Shine Up,” a photocatalytic fabric developed by Kuraray Co., Ltd. It features a double deodorizing function through both chemical adsorption and photocatalytic reactions, helping to reduce unpleasant odors such as those from perspiration, tobacco, and pets.
Made of 100% polyester, this washable kimono is easier to care for than a pure silk kimono, making it a good choice for those who want to enjoy wearing kimono more casually.
The fabric also has an anti-static finish and is resistant to wrinkling, making it easy to handle when traveling or going out.
A Sakura Pink Komon with Charming Moon and Rabbit Embroidery

Photocatalytic Deodorizing Fabric “Shine Up”
This kimono uses “Shine Up,” a photocatalytic fabric developed by Kuraray Co., Ltd.
Shine Up features a double deodorizing function through both chemical adsorption and photocatalytic reactions.
Because the deodorizing agent is incorporated into the fibers at the raw material stage, it is an integrated material designed to maintain its deodorizing performance even after repeated washing.
It is designed to work against a wide range of odors, including tobacco, perspiration, pets, and odors associated with decomposition, by adsorbing and breaking down odor-causing substances.
Made of 100% polyester, it is easy to handle and suitable for care at home.
It also has a soft, silk-like feel and luster. The anti-static finish helps prevent wrinkles, making it convenient for travel and other outings.
Please note that no waterproof or water-repellent treatment is applied in order to make the most of the deodorizing effect of the photocatalytic material.

The fabric is approximately 42 cm wide, making it suitable for tailoring kimono for taller body types as well.
Tailoring
In addition to purchasing the fabric as a kimono bolt, we also offer kimono and haori tailoring in Japan.
The kimono can be tailored as either lined (Awase) or unlined (Hitoe), and if a standard size does not fit, custom-made tailoring is also available.
Haori can also be tailored as either lined (Awase) or unlined (Hitoe).
This is also recommended for customers who would like their kimono tailored to their preferred measurements.
Please note that due to the nature of the embroidery, slight wrinkles may occur around the embroidered areas. Thank you for your understanding.
