Kyudo Kimono

The following types of adjustments are most frequently requested.

1. Widening the sleeve openings (to make it easier to uncover the skin)Normally, the sleeve opening is about 26 cm to 28 cm, but the left sleeve or both sleeve openings can be expanded to about 31 cm.
2. Widen the cuffs (to make it easier to expose the skin)
   Normally, the cuffs are about 26 cm to 28 cm, but enlarge the left cuff or both cuffs to about 31 cm.
   Widen the sleeve attachment (to make it easier to expose the skin)
   Normally, the sleeve attachment is about 37.8 cm to 41.5 cm, but you can enlarge it by about 3.8 cm according to your preference, to about 41.5 cm to 45.3 cm.
3. Change to hakama under-kimono (optional)
   Choose either full length to the ankles (standard length) or knee length (under-hakama length).
   * If changing to under-hakama, please inform us whether a slit (cut at the center back) is necessary or not, and the desired length (standard about 22.7 cm).
4. “Slit processing” makes movement easier. Please indicate whether you want it and the length.
5. “Lengthen the collar” For men, the collar is made longer so that the area under the collar is less likely to be exposed when uncovering the skin. (The normal collar length is about 68 cm, but with an additional 15 cm it becomes about 83 cm.)
6. We also have traditional Japanese underwear made of materials that are superior to hemp and cotton in sweat absorption and quick-drying, and materials that keep your skin at a comfortable temperature. Please make use of them.
