Fabric Features and Care
The fabric uses Kuraray's Shine Up technology, which combines adsorption and photocatalytic reactions to help reduce unpleasant odors. The product information describes its deodorizing performance against odors such as tobacco, perspiration, and pets.
The deodorizing agent is incorporated into the fibers, helping the fabric retain its performance through repeated washing. The material also offers a silk-like texture and sheen, antistatic treatment, and wrinkle resistance.
To help preserve its photocatalytic deodorizing performance, the fabric does not have a water-repellent or waterproof finish.
Fabric and Tailoring Options
You can purchase the fabric unstitched or choose Japanese domestic tailoring for a kimono or haori jacket.
