This elegant women's washable komon kimono features traditional Japanese square motifs, known as Shikishi, delicately embroidered against a deep grape-purple background.
The rich purple tone creates a sophisticated impression, while the carefully selected embroidery threads harmonize beautifully with the fabric's base color.
The design combines the charm of traditional Japanese patterns with a contemporary sense of style, making it both refined and distinctive.
Each motif is carefully embroidered by skilled artisans in Kyoto, creating delicate details and a beautiful sense of depth.
Fabric Features
The fabric is made with Shine-Up, a photocatalytic deodorizing material developed by Kuraray Co., Ltd.
It features a dual deodorizing system that combines photocatalytic action and chemical adsorption, helping to reduce unwanted odors such as perspiration, tobacco, and pet odors.
The deodorizing components are incorporated directly into the fiber material during production, helping the fabric maintain its deodorizing performance even after repeated washing.
Although made of 100% polyester, the fabric has a soft, silk-like texture and an elegant sheen. It is also resistant to wrinkles and easy to care for at home.
Depending on how you coordinate it with an obi sash and other accessories, this kimono can be enjoyed for a variety of occasions, including tea gatherings, Japanese cultural lessons, parties, and everyday outings.
