Washable Men's Tsumugi Kimono (Teijin Silpearl) — Bordeaux Brown
Bordeaux Brown is a deep reddish-brown that carries both quiet restraint and a touch of richness, making it a great choice for men looking for a mature, understated look. Worn on its own it reads as calm and grounded, and it changes character nicely when paired with a haori (kimono jacket), which is part of why it's one of the most popular colors in this tsumugi lineup.
The fabric is Teijin's high-performance polyester, Silpearl. Both the weaving and the dyeing take place in Fukui Prefecture, so the kimono is dyed and tailored entirely within Japan. It has the characteristic smooth, breathable feel of tsumugi along with just enough texture that the collar and hem hold their place well when dressing, helping the kimono stay neat throughout the day. Since it's machine-washable, it's an easy piece to reach for whether you're heading to practice or just out for the day.
Pairing it with a haori
The color balance between kimono and haori changes the overall impression. A haori in a darker shade than the kimono reads as classic and composed, while a lighter haori feels more casual and relaxed.
