① 表情豊かな「シャンタン羽二重」の風合い
シンプルな白でありながら、均一ではない独特の横節（よこぶし）が光の加減で美しい陰影を生み出し、高級感を漂わせます。
② お稽古の所作を妨げない「適度な滑り」と確かな締め心地
弓道の体配（たいはい）での襷さばきや、茶道のお点前（おてまえ）など、一瞬の動作をスムーズに行えるよう「適度な滑り」を持たせています。滑りすぎて緩むことがなく、衣服を傷めずに結び直しや脱ぎ着ができる、実用性を追求した絶妙な質感です。
